Achari-Style Paneer Tikka with Curry Leaf & Mango

Good food. Less effort. Endless possibilities.

FROM OUR KITCHEN TO YOURS

Using Savore Curry Leaf & Mango (52.5g): One full sachet is designed to season approximately 500–600g of paneer, chicken, potatoes, mushrooms or vegetables. For a yoghurt-based marinade, use 5–6 tbsp of thick plain curd; for roasting vegetables, a lighter coating can also work. Marinate paneer and vegetables for 20–30 minutes. For chicken, marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator, then cook thoroughly.

For days when you want paneer tikka with extra tang, Savore Curry Leaf & Mango gives a lively, chatpata direction inspired by Indian spices and raw mango. This is an achari-style interpretation, not a traditional pickle recipe.

Ingredients

  • 500 g paneer, cut into cubes
  • One full 52.5g sachet of Savore Curry Leaf & Mango for approximately 500–600g of paneer
  • Thick plain yoghurt OR a little oil, depending on your preferred coating
  • Capsicum and onion pieces, optional
  • Fresh coriander and lemon for serving, optional

How to make it

  1. Dry the paneer gently and prepare any optional vegetables.
  2. Mix Savore Curry Leaf & Mango with thick yoghurt for a creamy coating, or with oil for a lighter rub. Choose your preferred marinade base.
  3. Fold in paneer gently and coat all sides. Keep chilled if marinating.
  4. Pan-sear, air-fry, or oven-roast until lightly golden and heated through. Adjust the time for any vegetables included.
  5. Serve with onions, coriander, and a cooling dip.

Cooking note: Cooking time depends on ingredient size and appliance. Follow the instructions on your Savore pack and confirm tenderness or doneness before serving.

Make it your own

  • Try the oil-based version alongside the yoghurt version to see which best showcases this tangy blend.
  • Keep the yoghurt thick so it clings to the paneer.
  • Avoid adding raw mango or extra sour ingredients before tasting the seasoning.

More ways to serve it

  • Serve as a tangy party starter.
  • Make a wrap with onions and yoghurt sauce.
  • Layer into a rice bowl with cucumber and vegetables.
